El Rebozo

The rebozo is known as a Mexican shawl that has different purposes throughout a woman’s life: it can be worn a certain way in her young adulthood to indicate that she is available for marriage, it can later be used as a cradle for the baby on her back, be wrapped around the head or upper body to shade from the sun or provide warmth.
